In My Dreams was written and performed by Tara Albright Carr as a acoustic solo act. When Out of the Dog House was being conceived, she brought it to the band, Tim on bass jumped right in. All the members took the song home to create their individual parts. On the day of recording TuneCats friend Lee Thompson was present and added his touch of guitar lead behind the vocals through out, and Anthony tried to add flavor with the Kurzweil strings as Nina filled in the drums. The final recording was recorded live in the TuneCat studio with friends watching and getting lost in it with a harmonica and percussion toys. Starting out with the conga’s, Tara jumps in and the rest was captured as is.
