Out of the DogHouse is the title song Recorded mostly live in studio, at TuneCat headquarters in Wichita Kansas, in 2002. Only the crowd background by friends, simulating an audience, and the timbales was added later. It sets the theme for the entire CD with a touch of comedy playacting a wife, at the end of the night in a bar, thinking she busted her husband stepping out on her. It sets up the last track on the CD which presents an explanation of how the CD was created by a cat. Words written by Tara Albright Carr and the chord structure was designed by Anthony Chavez, but the song was developed at the weekly Sunday meeting with the band and friends.
